The PIAs on this page were obtained through a May 2024 freedom of information request under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act for PIAs from 2014-2024. A few commendable things to note:
- UNBC provided a Records Index showing which documents and pages were severed due to Section 15(1)(l), Section 21(1), and Section 22(1). It also identifies 8 PIAs which were denied in full due to Section 13(1). This section allows public bodies to sever information that would “reveal advice or recommendations developed by or for a public body or a minister”. The redacted PIAs are for MeeScan, LeaveForm, Zoom Counselling, RoboGarden, Delinea, D2L, IDSync, and CirrusBridge.
- UNBC now keeps updated Privacy Impact Assessment Summaries on a new webpage.
- UNBC has completed the most PIAs by far, spanning all of 2014-2024, of any institution that has responded to their FOI request.
