These PIAs were responsive to freedom of information requests under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act for PIAs from 2014-2024. The following note was included regarding why certain information was severed and why there were not more PIAs:
“College of the Rockies is currently working on the implementation of a Privacy Management Program. The small volume of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) included in this response package and sent to you on July 17, 2024 are the only PIAs currently completed by the College. Prior to November 2022, BC legislation did not require PIAs to be completed. The College is working to implement processes that ensure PIAs are completed on a routine basis going forward.”
